Clinical Neurophysiological Services, LLC (CNS) is a licensed physician practice providing intraoperative neuromonitoring. Intraoperative neuromonitoring is the practice of acquiring, interpreting and monitoring neurophysiological tests such as Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEPs), Transcranial Motor Evoked Potentials (TcMEPs), EEG (electroencephalography), EMG (electromyography) and direct nerve stimulation during surgical procedures to provide real time feedback to the operating physician. These diagnostic tests when performed during procedures such as cerebral aneurysm clipping, thyroidectomy, posterior spine fusions, carotid endarterectomy, to name a few, provide an additional tool for the surgeon to receive real time feedback of the patient's nervous or vascular systems.
